Week 4

We have had a super busy week this week!!

We have all looked closely in the mirror at our faces and made a self portrait picture using paint and collage materials for a display. When it's finished we'll show the the results, they're looking fab.

We have also been talking about who lives in our house and how everyone's families are different, some people have more than one house and some people have lots of people who live in their house. The children have drawn pictures of the people (and pets!) that live in their house and have used lollipop sticks to build a house around them.

Every Tuesday Reception and Nursery are taking it in turns to have a music session with a special teacher that comes in to help us. This week it was Nursery's turn for the very first time. Look how much fun they had...

Reception had another visit from their Year 6 buddies on Friday afternoon. They shared a story together and are really enjoying making a special bond...

Our assembly winners this week are:

Star of the week - MAX.G and ISLA. The star of the week is award to children who have really shone this week in their work, progress or behaviour.

Taking Tatty Teddy Bear home are ZAYAAN and CHARLIE.B. Tatty Teddy watches the children whilst they are sitting on the carpet during adult focused sessions. He chooses to go home with children who have shown super sitting and good listening.

Happy Mind winners - AMBER and JASPER. The happy mind award goes to children who have shown character strengths during the week such as bravery or resilience.

The children who received their Always badges this week were GRACE - Always badges are awarded throughout the school to children who consistently (always!) follow the school rules and adult instructions. It is a very special award and children must wear their Always badge to school each day as part of their uniform. Well done Grace!
