This week has flown by as year 6 have been extremely busy!

We have been working hard on our end of year production 'Robin Hood and the Sherwood Hoodies' this is really starting to take shape now and we are witnessing some excellent acting performances and seeing the children grow in confidence.

We have completed and published our newspaper articles based on an alternative ending to the story of 'The 3 Little Pigs'.

Inline with our topic we have now started looking at a story based on the other side of the world and will be examining the cultural differences we can see.

In Maths we have been calculating portions to turn Mr Houghton into a frog. In Forest School we have been working together attempting to build a structure strong enough to hold a bottle.

On Thursday afternoon we also visited Mahdlo in Oldham to attend the 'Crucial Crew' roadshow. At this we were split up into two groups working with different agencies including: British Transport Police, Travel safe, drug and alcohol services, The Sophie Lancaster Foundation, local PCSO's and St Johns Ambulance. We learnt a lot and as usual year 6's attitude was super.

Below are some pictures of our visit.
