We are nearly at the end of what has been another fantastic week in year 6.
We are really enjoying 'Wonder' digging deep into the text of this gripping children's novel. In literacy we have been continuing to write our formal diaries imagining that we were evacuees sent to live in the countryside in World War 2. These diaries are really shaping up well and we will be publishing them next week.
In maths we have been developing our rounding skills and then tackling some really tricky reasoning problems involving rounding.
During our topic lessons we have been examining the role women played during world war 2 and the children have enjoyed taking part in their weekly coding and PE lessons.
Look out next week for photographs of our guest visitor on Monday coming to teach us more about the war and bringing with him a range of different surprises.
Have a great weekend!
