Hello everyone, thank you for taking the time to visit our class page. The staff in Year 3 is made up of Miss Leaver, Mrs McDonald and Miss Hunt. 

On this page you will find the copies of the homework given out every half term as well as separate pages that give you some insight as to what we have been doing every week. In the weekly update pages you will find copies of the spellings as well as photos from what we have been doing that week.

Welcome back everyone! Can you believe this is the last half term of the year?! Time goes fast when you're having fun eh...!!

This half term is going to be about being green. 

We are going to be looking and exploring plants, finding how they feed, what makes a plant a plant and what vital things they need to grow. 

We will also be looking at the weather conditions around the UK and how this affects plant life and growth. 

We are going to continue the times tables test on a Friday until the end of the year. The times tables seems to really sinking in with the children and they have already made huge amounts of progress. Later on in the half term we will be introducing the children to the 6, 9 and 11 times tables. Thank you for all your half work in helping the children learn these. Times tables are a vital tool in maths and allows them to access so much more!
