Week 5
A week full of millilitres and measuring!
I am sure you have already heard, we have been working on volume and capacity this week.
One of our favourite lessons of the week was definitely creating our own potion recipe and then making the potions with our friends. We had water containing glitter, water with stars and finally water with red colouring.
We decided how many millilitres of each liquid we were going to add to the potion and then worked in our teams. We had to make sure that the volume of water was correct in order for the potion to work.
In our writing we have been completing our non-chronological report plans and we are beginning to publish them. A big well done to all of Year One for all of their hard work and determination this week in finishing their writing.
