Summer 1 - Keen to be green!
Our topic this half term is...
On our first day back at school our classroom was full of rubbish! We sorted it into materials that can be recycled and materials that cannot. We discovered that LOTS of materials CAN be recycled, this made us think about ways that we can improve our environment.
We learnt lots of interesting fact during our topic!
Did you know..?
The only plastic that can be recycled is plastic bottles - and this doesn't include the lids!
Nappies take 550 years to rot!
An average family uses 6 trees worth of paper... PER YEAR!
