Week 4

Another busy week in Year 4 this week!

Thank you to all of the children and adults that have logged into Seesaw and have started to upload homework for our Nando's challenges. If you have any problems with logging in or log in details, please email or phone the office and we will do what we can to help.

In Maths this week we have been working very hard on our place value knowledge. We have completed chilli challenges for both rounding and partitioning, which all of the children showed great resilience in! On our Maths mornings, we have also been completing times tables checks. The scores are improving each time we do it and its so lovely to see the smiles on the children's faces when they have beat their previous score. Remember the only way to learn your times tables is to practice, practice, practice!

In our Topic sessions we have been learning about teeth and the different functions in the mouth. This week we have created some amazing teeth plastercine models! Have a look at the photos below!

I would also like to thank the parents who had children doing Bikeability this week for helping us to get the bikes in and out of school so smoothly. The behaviour of all of the children taking part was commented on by the instructor, who said that they were a credit to Whitegate End, which is so lovely to hear!

Enjoy the rest of your week and please let me know if you need any help with anything.
