Week 7

We can't believe that it's the end of the term! We have been so busy this half term, the children have been brilliant adapting to all the Christmas changes over the last couple of weeks.

We've had a different week in Year 5, as we started off on Monday with a science day. The children were investigating materials that dissolve in water and then in the afternoon we looked at how we can make chemical reactions. They loved doing both of these experiments and wanted to change more variables in hope of a bigger reaction sad.

In maths this week, they have been looking at multiplying by 10, 100 and 1000 and finished a post learning task. They have been brilliant and all the children worked so hard. They absolutely love getting onto their challenges.

With all things Christmas, they had their Christmas dinner on Tuesday and a party day on Friday morning. I have attached pictures below of some of the children having fun. They said they really enjoyed the party as they had choices, we decided to let them go between 3 rooms - a film room, a party room and quiet room. It was lovely to see them just have some wind down time in school.

Thank you so much for your support and kind words throughout the term. We hope you all have a lovely Christmas and have a well deserved rest with family and friends.
