A huge welcome back after the Easter Break, we hope you made some amazing memories with your family and friends!
Our topic for this half term will be ...
In this Science led topic we will be comparing both animals and humans and looking at their characteristics.
We will be identifying the similarities and differences between us and animals and also focusing on the features of the six animal groups.
We will be recognising animals that are carnivores, herbivores and omnivores and what types of food these animals eat.
We will also be looking at the features of the human body and linking our different senses to the correct body part.
In our writing we will be re-writing the classic story of Where the Wild Things Are and we will also be creating an animals explanation text.
In our maths we will be moving on to measures, looking at height and length alongside telling the time and money.
We will continue using our Little Wandle scheme for reading with added challenges around our "real" and "fake" words in preparation for our phonics screening check.
