Week 2
This week we have been on a refreshing Winter Walk to see what features of winter we could find. We have learnt about the North Pole, South Pole and the equator and where they are positioned on a globe. We now know that hot countries are near the equator and cold countries are near the poles. We also had a visit from a very cool penguin (we think he is from Lost and Found). We used our imagination to think of how he got here and what he might want to say. In Maths we have been doing a lot of practical work using number lines. We have also learnt how to add up to 20 using our number bond knowledge.
