Here's what happened in Week 5...

We have been rounding superstars in our maths work this week. We started being very nervous about it but in no time at all we had mini-rappers who put together some amazing rounding raps. Although there were plenty of laughs when Mrs Bingham tried to be a rapper too!!!! We then used these to become more confident in our learning!!

Our writing has gone from strength to strength with our draft stories of a journey through the body are coming along nicely. We just need to keep adding lots of details as we have great potential!! Plus we had great fun learning a new song all about punctuating direct speech. Remember to look at the 'useful links' section of our class page and practise...you know you want to!!

Mr Webster would like to say a huge thank you to all the children for a brilliant circle time session on Friday afternoon. We were focusing on saying nice things to one another. The children completed an activity where they had to compliment others. You could hear a pin drop in our classroom as the children thought really hard about the lovely things they could say about their friends. There were smiles all around when the children got to see what others had written about them. What a lovely way to end another brilliant week!!

We celebrated our 'Quiet critter' reward this week as one of our jars is full. Just so you know our 'quiet critters' come our when everyone is focused on their learning. Our Class Dojos are going up day by day plus so many children have moved their 'rocket' up the 'Mission Always' board. We gave out 4 Always badges this week and there are sure to be more handed out next week.

Our star of the week this week was Weronika who has settled so well in our lovely class. Plus we had a 'Masterpieces' winner in our class as Lewys was award the 'Masterpieces Award' in assembly.

Next week look out for the launch of our Oldham Pledge :)

Remember our class drop-in is each Tuesday from 3pm until 3.30pm....
