Spring 2- Evolution!
Looking at the above image and caption, you may be confused about how Mr Men and Little Miss link to evolution, however this half term we are going to be learning all about evolution, using these characters to help us!
In our writing this half term, we are going to be taking a closer look at Little Miss and Mr Men characters and their physical appearances and personality traits. We are then going to choose two parents and create a new Little Miss or Mr Men child. This will help us to explore and understand what inheritance is and how it all works! Be sure to ask your child about the character they have created!
We are also going to be using the incredible book 'The Moth' by Isabel Thomas to help us to understand natural selection and evolution.
In maths, our focus is going to be on algebra and ratio and then onto looking and recapping our arithmetic skills.
