Week 2 carried on nicely from week 1 with our learning. We have used the skills we learnt from practising our times tables to apply those facts to multiplying 3 small numbers (deciding on the most efficient order of the numbers) and beginning to multiply 2 and 3 digit numbers by a one digit number using a more formal written method. Learning those tables has really paid dividends!
Our English work is strongly linked to our topic and we have been researching and writing reports on marine animals. We did some pastel drawings too of marine animals.
We had a few wet playtimes during the week as the weather wasn't very kind and it was lovely to see that a number of children ask if they could spend the time reading.....of course!
