Year 6 have had a great week of learning this week topped off with a visit to the panto. (oh yes we did!)
In English we have continued writing our supernatural narrative based on the music video 'Titanium by David Guetta'. Children are trying hard to include the elements of writing we have suggested in their individual targets.
In maths we have bravely tackled long division. The resilience and determination demonstrated by the pupils when tackling this tricky method was excellent and progress had really been made by the end of Wednesday's lesson.
In science and topic this week we informed the children about a DT project they are about to undertake. The first aspect required them to research shelters that currently exist. Their challenge is to make an existing shelter suitable for an alien invasion ensuring it is waterproof, wind proof and heat proof.
