Week 3 W/C 18/11
We have had a brilliant week this week!
Rehearsals for the Christmas production are in full swing and those children that have lines have been sent home with them. Please can they practise as much as possible these lines at home so we are able to say these words without needing the sheets!
Our first group went over to Ashgrove Care Home on Wednesday, they had a brilliant time! They met with some of the residents there and they were able to draw pictures of each other, have a chat and have some juice and a biscuit - the highlight! Our second group is going next Wednesday and the children going will be told early next week.
In our writing, we have been looking at the Bear and Hare Christmas advert from John Lewis and have begun writing our setting description. The children have been able to use their conjunctions from last half term and we have included some new conjunctions for this half term as well as some year 2 WOW words.
