I'm special display

This week the children have beenworking on an ' special' display. This is part of our work on valuing each other as individuals but also working as a team and being kind to each other.

The children have written comments about what makes their friends special on pieces of paper which we have rolled up and put inside a balloon. One for each child. Each day we burst a balloon and read out what other people say about the children in our class.

So far two children have had their 'I'm special' sheets read out. They have said that they really do feel special. What has amazed Mrs Maslen has been how similar the comments have been, even though the children did not look at what other people had written.

Im really excited to be able to share the 'I'm special' comments with all of year 3.
