In our topic work we began to look at the question 'Why was it necessary to evacuate children during the war? which led us to look at data around the number of children evacuated at different stages of the war and the reasons for this. We looked at a graph of information and used our maths skills to answer key questions. Our next step is to investigate if being evacuated was an enjoyable experience for all.
On Thursday we were so lucky to go to the Oldham Coliseum and watch Aladdin. It was so nice to see all the KS2 children enjoying the show. As much as they won't want to admit it, the Year 6 children loved it and we could see them all singing and dancing. They did us proud with their behaviour and how well the represented our school to members of the public.
