Our final topic of the year is... Let It Grow!
This science based topic is all about plants!
In this topic we will be learning how to plant seeds, learning the names of different trees and the different types of flowering plants.
We will be recognising the different types of plants that grow in different seasons and recalling our knowledge of the months that are in each season.
We will be learning the names of the parts of a plant and learning which parts of the plant we can eat.
In our writing we will be retelling the stories of Handa's Hen, Handa's Suprise, Oliver's Fruit Salad, Jack and the Beanstalk and we will be writing instructions on how to plant a seed.
In our maths we will be learning how to measure different objects using weight, length, height and volume.
