Our brand new topic for this half term is...
Ahoy Matey!
In this topic we will be focusing on all things Pirate... from Pirate School to Pirate Food to Pirate History!
In our writing sessions we will be looking at a number of different texts; such as, Flotsam, Pirate School and The Pirates Next Door. We will be writing letters to pirates and postcards to turtles!
In our maths we will be working on our place value and our addition and subtraction skills.
In our reading sessions we will be focusing on using our Little Wandle Scheme encompassing the three key areas of Decoding, Prosody and Comprehension.
