Autumn 1
This half term our topic is based on the Viking age. The children will be fully enrolled into the Dragon Initiation Programme to complete many challenges during their learning.
During our pre-learning, the children generated lots of questions they want to find out by the end of the topic.
Where did they come from?
Why were they so violent?
How did they write and draw?
What were their house made out of?
How did they live?
Are Vikings good or bad?
How did they really dress?
What was it like being a Viking child?
Over the next couple of weeks, we will be looking at these questions and seeing if the children would of liked to have been a Viking child, comparing similarities and differences between then and today.
