Week 7 W/C 14.10.19
Wow, this is our last full week in our first half term, I can't believe how fast it has gone!
This week we have been really able to show off our history knowledge on Alan Turing. We have had our sticky knowledge quiz and it has been amazing how much the children remember about how significant Alan Turing was. We were then able to go to the MOSI on Wednesday, where we saw the display on Alan Turing and took part in an inventor's workshop. The children were wonderful throughout the day and represented our school so well, we were really proud of them.
In our writing this week, we have published our own stories based on Izzy Gizmo, creating using our own inventors and inventions. The children have been able to showcase what we have been practising in school, including conjunctions and different punctuation.
Next week's homework is also attached below. There are no spellings as we only have a short week next week, but homework will be collected in next Wednesday instead.
