During the final week this half term we have not stepped off the pace in year 6 .
In maths our post assessments are showing we are now much more confident when working with decimals as year 6 have made fantastic progress. In literacy, the writing in the 500 word challenge has been stunning. Some of the vocabulary that year 6 are now able to use in their writing shows a growing maturity and we really don't envy the judges having to choose a winner.
In Science we have been consolidating and revising our work on electricity and have been learning the names of different classroom objects in Spanish .
Finally this week we have been carrying out a number of tests on the shelters we modified in DT. We needed to ensure that they were waterproof, windproof and well insulated.
We hope everyone has a fantastic half term break, we are already looking forward to starting out new topic. Remember as part of our wow starter we are going on a trip on Tuesday :)
