This is Manchester, we do things differently round here!
We are so excited this year to start our new curriculum. Our focus this year will be on Manchester. We will learn about the Geography, History and Science of our nearest city. Throughout the Autumn term we will be focusing on the Geography of Manchester. We will be finding out:
Is Manchester Britain’s rainiest city?
Would you rather live in a built urban environment or a rural setting?
Which animals and vegetation are unique to Manchester?
What impact do rivers and canals have on the city region?
Is Manchester a wealthy city?
How does Manchester compare to Birmingham?
Can you navigate to locations around the region using technology?
