Out topic this half term is ... Our Journey Through Space!
This topic will develop your understanding of the planets, solar system and the sun.
We will be looking the different phases of the moon and recognise that the moon, the sun and the Earth are spherical. By the end of this topic we will be able to explain day and night and also understand the movement of the moon relative to Earth.
In our writing we will be focusing on a Literacy Shed video called "The Planets" and create our own holiday brochures from this.
In our maths we are working on our fractions skills and then we will link this to decimals and percentages.
In our guided reading work we will be reading and answering questions based on a range of poetry.
