Shiver Me Timbers!

 

 

'Shiver Me Timbers!’ is the name of our new and exciting topic for this half term. The children will be learning all about pirates and exploring the pirate ship in our role play area, where they will have opportunities to dress up, explore a treasure chest, make their friends walk the plank and take on pirate jobs such as scrubbing the deck!

The children will also participate in lessons and activities to learn the pirate language, find out about the life of a real pirate named Blackbeard and explore what life would be like living on a ship.
