How is it the final half term already?
Our focus topic this half term is a science topic based on forces and magnets. As usual we know year 3 will fully embrace the topic and have a great time learning new things.
In writing we will be creating a biography based on fossil hunter Mary Anning and writing a letter to persuade Mr Hollingsworth with ideas on how we can make our school even better than it is now.
We will also be looking at a range of different poems.
In maths we will be further exploring time, looking at the properties of 2D shapes and finally working with a range of different statistics presented in different ways.
We will also be starting to think about transition into year 4 and will be completing activities to support the children in their learning next year.
