Week 3
We have a had a lovely week this week and are very impressed with all the children who have completed all of their rainbow challenges. Keep up the good work! We have been making treasure maps, searching for magnetic and non-magnetic coins, counting out pennies correctly to match the prices and have enjoyed programming the robotic caterpillars, making them move in various directions.
This week the children have been learning about a famous pirate called Captain Blackbeard. Ask your child if they can remember anything about him.
Next week we will be learning all about Chinese New Year. If you are doing anything special to celebrate Chinese New Year, please bring photographs in or if you have any items relating to the celebrations feel free to bring them in and we will share them with the children.
It is our Family Learning Session on maths next week. It will be held on Wednesday 29th January 2020. We will look forward to seeing you all there.
