Our topics will be 'Commotion in the Ocean' and 'Peter Rabbit and Friends' this term!!!
We are learning all about the world's Oceans and the creatures and plants that live in them. We will be creating our own Art work and textile work based on fish and we will be creating pieces of story writing influenced by the story of The Rainbow Fish and the Poetry book Commotion in the Ocean!!
Next half term the children will be learning all about the life of Beatrix Potter, how she became a famous author, looking at the stories she wrote; especially Peter Rabbit. We will be learning about how Beatrix was also an artist and created all the illustrations to go alongside her stories. The children will also learn about the Lake District which is where Beatrix spent most of her life.
