This week it has all been about … time!
In our learning this week we managed to tell the time to the nearest 5 minutes, convert the time from 12 to 24 hour clock. Tell the time using digital and finally(!) look at duration of time. The children have really worked hard with all the challenges they have had their way this week - well done year 3.
A lot of the children are wearing watches, please can they be encouraged to tell the time when they wear it. Constant practise will allow it to sink it and stick!
We have also been learning the 6 times tables this week to Taylor Swift's 'Shake it Off' - they have loved being able to floss to the tune too! Our times table test on Friday is all about the 6 times tables.
Our peas and cucumbers have slowly but surely began to flower - fingers crossed they will continue to grow!!
We have looked at the life cycle of a plant this week and been able to explore the different stages of a plants life as well as how they reproduce.
