Wow what a week we have had! 

We have been securing our times table knowledge in maths and challenging ourselves in our countdown challenges (even the teachers have been challenging themselves!). 

We have been looking at balancing greater than and less than calculations - looking to extend our knowledge in those too which is really giving the children ownership of their learning which is fantastic! 

In our writing this week we have been looking at Revolting Rhymes by Roald Dahl - we have been picking away at The Little Red Riding Hood and going to be creating our own revolting rhyme next week. 

We have begun to have a look at the food groups in our science. We have been looking at what is healthy for us to eat, why our bodies need a variety of food and nutrients. We have also been looking at input and output devices in our computing and thinking about what input and output devices we have at home. 

On Wednesday, it was Drop Everything and Read Day. The children brought in their books from home and we has bells throughout the day when whatever we were doing - we had to drop everything and read! 

Next weeks spellings are attached below and have been sent home with the children on Friday.
