Our roving reporters this week are Toby & Maya ...
This week in year 6 we have had a packed couple of days.... In maths we have been detectives trying to solve a crime using our multiplication skills.
Guided reading has been amazing as we have been reading and watching the gripping story of 'The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas whilst developing our inference and analytical skills.
Topic has covered interesting but sad parts of WW2 such as life in a concentration camp. It was so sad to hear what happened to so many innocent people!
Diary writing in our topic books has been fun as we have been writing 'A Diary of Wimpy Kid' style diary based on our amazing trip to Robinwood. Finally in grammar we have been learning about determiners especially articles (an, a and the if you are reading this Mr Scott :).
We can't wait to see what next half term will bring in year 6!
