Week 2
We started our topic this week and started to learn about what is 'Right Beneath Our Feet'. You loved the book 'The Street Beneath My Feet' and created some lovely art work to alongside the story. In Geography, we started to learn the features of a volcano and in reading we started the book 'Pompeii'. In English, we also started to learn about Mary Anning, from Lyme Regis. She is significant to our topic as she discovered the fossiliesd remains of an Ichthyosaurus, a creature of the sea over 165 million years old!
