Week 5
Well the countdown to Christmas has officially started!
We have been working hard on our songs for our nativity 'Christmas with the Aliens' there are lots of songs to learn but we have been singing our little hearts out!
Lots of children have also been practicing their lines too, which is fantastic and will make all the difference in our performance!
This week we have had an elf in our classroom! He welcomed us on Monday with a spray painted window.
We soon discovered that he had used snow to say 'hello Year one!' His name was JJ and he said that he had come to watch us before Christmas.
He also left us a kindness calendar, which we had to read every day and complete the kindness task, which we have done a great job of so far.
We have now sent our letters to Father Christmas so lets hope we get a reply soon! We have our fingers crossed 
In Maths we have been applying our basic skills knowledge by completing and answering word problems by becoming problem detectives!
