What a brilliant first week back year 2, well done!
This week we have been learning all about our local area and we have created our very own coffee-stained local area maps. We decided that Princess Park, Morrisons, the canal, school and even Broadway needed to be on our maps. We then decided where to bury our treasure!
In our maths we have recapped money and we will start to look at how to use different measures this half term.
In our writing we have started reading the book the Tin Forest and we now recognise why it is so important to recycle.
In our guided reading we have started to read the Big Book of the UK and are learning lots of different facts all about the UK.
