Week 1
Wow! What an amazing first week back at school. It has been lovely to welcome the children to year 1 and see so many smiley faces coming through the door. The children have been fantastic at adapting to the new rules and routines. We are very proud of you all.
We have spent this week exploring all the different areas of provision in year 1. It has been great fun!
Together, we have looked at the story 'The Colour Monster' by Anna Llenas which focuses on different emotions through colour. We have talked about our own feelings and what it is like being back at school after such a long time. The children have also had the opportunity to make their own Colour Monster and decide which colour it should be based on how they are feeling.
