The children have settled back into their learning and are loving our new History topic. We introduced and asked so many questions, I was flooded the day after with lots of answers, as they couldn't wait to find out what happened.
This week in writing they have been recapping their non-negotiables and making sure they are including them in their writing. They have spent time looking at the events of Guy Fawkes and Gun Powder plot and written wanted posters to try and help find him.
In their maths, we are so impressed by their growth mindset and how they are working through their challenges, much more independently.
We are moving to whole class guided reading and using the book, 'Toby and the Great Fire of London', they are enjoying this and using the VIPER questions to help them really get to understand the book.
