Take A Trip Down Memory Lane
Welcome back after half term. As always we are ready to get going with our exciting new topic which is......... A Trip Down Memory Lane. The driver for our topic is History with biology as an enhancer. As part of our 'wow' starter we are excited to be visiting 'Gallery Oldham' to kick start our learning. Within this topic we will learn lots about the local history of our town and the impact it has had on the world stage.
In science we will be looking at living things and their habitats. We will focus specifically on classifying living things and develop our own classification grids linked to the work of Carl Linnaeus. We will also look at micro-organisms and think about the impact of them spreading as harmful illnesses. Watch out bacteria as Year 6 are out to stop you in your tracks!!!!
