Brilliant Week 5
Well what a busy busy week we have had in Year One!
We need to begin by saying how proud Miss Hunt and I are of Year One this week! We have been blown away by work that has been done both in class and at home and we really can't thank you all enough. In class we have now moved onto addition, we began the week exploring different resources that we can use to help us with our addition including Numicon and multilink. We then moved onto using a number line to help us with our addition skills.
In our writing as you may have already heard Barbie and Ken are still in our class! This week Lotso the bear had them tied up! We created actions for our writing and then sat down and completed our work all together independently, the teachers were amazed! 
On Thursday morning after play time Barbie had gone missing! We believe that Lotso had taken her, what were we going to do?!
Ken had left us some work to do, we created missing posters for Barbie using our best describing skills. We then stuck them up around school in the hope that Barbie will be found! We wonder what will happen next......
