Around the UK in 28 Days!
Welcome to our brand new topic - Around the UK in 28 days.
This topic is a geography based topic and we will be using our researching skills and focusing on the four countries that make up the UK - England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
We will be travelling "virtually" to a different country each week and researching all about that country.
In our writing we will be creating a report all about the four countries of the UK. We will also be producing a narrative based on our class text The Tin Forest.
In our maths we will be working hard on our measuring skills and recognising different units of measurement.
In our geography work we will be learning how to create maps of our local area. We will also learn how to use compasses and directional language.
In our history learning we will be focusing on the history of Chadderton.
