WOW! What a fantastic start to the half term we have had this week, we have certainly blown the cobwebs off!
For our WOW starter, we turned into 'Habitat Hunters'. We explored the school grounds, had our microscopes, clipboards and ipads at the ready and tried to find as many habitats and creatures as we could. We upturned stones, logs you name it! We found lots of interesting habitats that we wrote up in our science report. The children really enjoyed themselves and it was wonderful to watch.
We have begun multiplication in our maths this week and the children made us all so proud in their attitude to this new concept!
The pupils have also really enjoyed the first few pages of our guided reading book too, a non-fiction book called The Big Book of Beasts!
