This week in year 2 we have been very busy bees!
In our writing we have been working really hard on using nouns and adjectives in our sentences to make our writing more interesting.
In our maths work we have been using part-whole models to represent different 2 digit numbers. We have also been doing some extra maths sessions to cover our objectives that we may have missed in year 1. In our catch up maths sessions we have been working hard on recognising the inverse and how to use this to check problems. In our topic we have been researching and finding facts all about Alan Turing and why he was such an inspirational man. We have recognised why Alan Turing is so famous in Manchester and even has a road named after him!
