Sum 1

It's the Summer Term!

Through all the challenges this year has brought the children, we have made it to Summer! We have some lovely things planned for this term and aim to ensure the children get everything they can out of our Early Years setting before the end of the academic year.

Our topic for this half term is...

Thank you so much for all of the donations towards our sensory garden, we are working hard to develop the area into a lovely space to provide the children with calm, exploration and serenity.

We will be growing cress, beans, sunflowers, strawberries, apples, potatoes, tomatoes, wild flowers and much more. The children will be learning about caring for plants and nature, observing the growing process and sustainability.

Our role play area has transformed into The Whitegate End Farm Shop where the children are able to collect eggs from the hen house, milk a cow, pick strawberries, collect honey from the bee hive and buy fruits and vegetables.

Please continue to use Seesaw to contact the Early Years staff to pass on messages and ask questions. Alternatively we are always at the other end of the phone.
