This term, our spotlight is on History! 🏺 We will delve into the fascinating world of the Romans and uncover how they transformed Britain. Later, we'll step into the 20th century to learn about World War II. Using the knowledge we gained in Autumn, we’ll compare how Manchester has evolved since these pivotal moments in history.

In Reading, our book adventure takes us to The Boy Who Grew Dragons by Andy Shepherd. 🐉 The imaginative story promises to spark curiosity and inspire creativity!

In Writing, we’ll be building upon Year 2’s exploration of The Bear and the Piano by diving into The Bear, the Piano, and Little Bear's Concert. 🎶 Students will use their Autumn learning to craft heartfelt letters as they embrace new writing challenges.

In Maths, we’ll continue our journey through Power Maths, focusing on key topics like:

• Multiplication and Division

• Length and Perimeter

• Fractions

• Mass and Capacity

We’ll also sharpen our mental maths skills in addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, helping students grow into confident mathematicians! 🧮
