In our Summer term we will be learning all about the stars and constellations and space!
We will be looking at the sky above us and using our scientific knowledge to ask and answer questions about the stars.
We will be focusing on the names of specific constellations and understanding the importance of these.
We will be looking at how the stars can help us plan a journey and how explorers use them in everyday life.
We will be looking at the names of the planets and learning facts about each of them.
In our writing we will focusing on two key texts; Toys in Space and the Disgusting Sandwich - we will be writing instructions and narratives.
In our science work we will be working on the topic of plants and recognising what a plant needs in order to survive. We will be growing our own plants and learning the specific names for a range of plants.
