The safety, care and well-being of all pupils is our highest priority. We take great pride in the time we spend ensuring all pupils needs are identified and supported.
We take our responsibilities for child protection very seriously.
Governors and staff have reviewed the school’s policy and procedures and these are available to parents through the school office or on our website.
Should the school believe that a pupil may have been subject to abuse, we are required to follow the child protection procedures established by the Oldham Area Child Protection Committee and inform Social Services. In the event of a child making a disclosure or causing concern a Designated safeguarding lead will initially speak to parents before contacting the local safeguarding team or social care unless school feels this may cause further concern or place a child in danger.
