Parents letter regarding the 2018-19 Academic Year and Sports Day (4/6/18)
Clubs Letter 12th March 2018
40 parents from both Reception and Nursery classes attended, the workshop lasted around half an hour and was delivered by Miss O’Callaghan and Miss Smith. We gave an explanation of the developmental milestones and stages of writing the children will go through during their time in EYFS, and how we support and develop each of the stages through our teaching, provision and planned activities. Advice and tips were shared with parents regarding how they can help their child with writing at home. Many parents stayed behind once the workshop had finished to give positive feedback about how much they had learnt and how helpful they found the session, and to ask questions. Here is some of the great feedback we received: 'Very informative and well delivered' 'It really helped me to understand how my child is taught to write and I now have a better understanding of her learning' 'I felt I could come away from the workshop and have the confidence to implement the skills talked about at home. Definitely a morning well spent!' 'Really found the workshop useful, hopefully this will show in my daughter's progress'
