We believe that every day counts at Whitegate End – and we work hard to make sure each one is full of learning, laughter, and meaningful moments for your child.
Our school gates open early to welcome children to our free Breakfast Club, starting at 8:00am. This is a great opportunity for children to enjoy a healthy breakfast, settle in for the day, and spend time with friends in a relaxed, supportive environment.
Morning Registration: 8:30am
Our official school day begins at 8:30am with morning registration. Children are expected to be in their classrooms, ready to learn.
Learning Time:
Across the day, children take part in a rich and balanced curriculum, including English, maths, science, and a wide range of foundation subjects such as PE, music, art, history, and design & technology.
Play and Lunchtime:
There are regular breaks, including morning playtime and a lunch break, giving children time to recharge, socialise, and be active outdoors.
End of the Day: 3:00pm
Our school day finishes at 3:00pm. Children are dismissed safely from their classrooms or collection points.
This amounts to 32.5 hours of learning per week, in line with national expectations.
We know how important structure and routine are for children to thrive. Our staff work closely with families to make sure each child feels happy, safe, and confident throughout the day. Whether it’s their first day or they’re already part of the Whitegate End family, we’re here every step of the way.
If you’d like to find out more about the school day, or speak to us about how we can support your child’s routine, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
