A busy week
It's been a busy week in school this week,
The Reception children had a sports lesson with Mr Musgrove, a sneak peak at the sort of lessons they will have when they transfer to year 1 in September.
Year 1 visited St Georges Church on Thursday morning, they had a great time, and Rev Leaf praised them on their excellent behaviour in assembly on Friday
Year 3 were visited by Tony North who led a full day of workshops with an Ancient Egyptian Theme, then the class spent the day at Castleshaw activity centre orienteering and taking part in other team building activities.
Year 4 spent Wednesday morning at Glallery Oldham with children from Greenhill Primary School working on story scrolls, some of which are now on show at the gallery.
Mrs Angus, Miss Ashton & Mrs Maslen, some Whitegate End musicians and their parents had an evening out at the Bridgewater Hall listening to the Halle Orchestra.
Photos and write ups for each of these events will be coming soon to the class pages. Click Here to look at all the class pages of children at Whitegate End.
